Updated Blogs are a key factor in having your website found in a search, and it’s important to have your blog updated on a steady basis. Without fresh content, your website goes to the back of the line so to speak — Search Engine Page Rank after page one or two.

Blogs will also establish you as an expert or authority in your field, setting you apart from those competitors who do not blog and just have a “set it and forget it” website. When you write a blog related to your profession or industry and use search keywords within the blog post, you appear in a search for those keywords, appearing to those looking for that information. Blogging using (some) keywords is important to in order to be found, and regular and consistent blogging gets you found more often with a better page rank. However, this does not mean “stuffing” with keywords as Google has changed its algorithm (again!) to hide keywords.
What is “Keyword Stuffing”? It’s when you put a keyword phrase multiple times within a website page or in your blog post. When you read that text aloud, it doesn’t make sense with all that repetition. It sounds unnatural to the ear. Even though we read text, we “hear” it in our minds as we read it. There’s nothing wrong in putting essential keywords in your writing, just don’t overdo it and have it be blatantly obvious that you’ve “stuffed” it.
Google Changes Search Algorithm: In Google analytics of your website, the new update, Hummingbird, places more emphasis on “Conversational Search” rather than by keyword. Google looks at all the words in a query, not just the keywords, so better results are provided rather than the “stuffed” pages.

Your website analytics now show “Keywords Not Provided” due to search encryption by Google. By encrypting search – which Google has started doing for all users logged in or not – it protects the searcher’s privacy but prevents the website owner from seeing what brought the viewer to the website.
You can still see the keywords used to find your site or blog through the Google AdWords tool. (Yes, they want you to buy advertising.) Eventually, all keyword terms will be unavailable in Google Analytics so it’s a “when” rather than “if” that will happen.
